Dreams Resorts and Spas partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to give away all-expenses paid vacations to ten veterans and their moms.  Here is the story of Tyler Jeffries, a veteran who lost both legs during combat in Afghanistan, and his mom who has been providing 24-hour care for her son since he returned home in late 2012:

She really seems like a beautiful lady, doesn’t she?  I teared up when Tyler said “You’re such a tremendous mom that I wish more people had a mom like you.” I had to call my own mom after watching the video as I also count myself amongst the lucky ones when it comes to great parents.

I’m also excited to share that Dreams Resorts and Spas has extended their campaign and they’re giving away 10 more vacations to deserving people!  Travel with Aging Parents readers can submit their stories here.
