Although I’ve not given an update in a while, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes to finalize my book. The biggest news:

It’s amazing to think back to this time last year – I was soliciting agents and publishers for their interest in my book. Now, it’s working its way to print! Crazy! Anyway, to catch you up on what’s been happening….
I finished principal writing in January and since then the book has gone through several rounds of copy editing and Greenleaf Book Group, my publisher, is conducting the final proofread.
Thank you to all TWAP readers who voted on the four cover designs submitted by Greenleaf for consideration. Although I’ve shared this before, in case you missed it, here is the final selection:
The next phase after selecting the cover was finalizing the interior lay-out: things like fonts, chapter headings, any graphics, etc. Take a peek at the internal lay-out and design of a few of the pages:
Several weeks ago I also approved what’s called an Advanced Reader Copy (commonly referred to as an “ARC”) that is sent to distributors and buyers (such as Barnes & Noble) who will decide if they want to carry the book. When I came home from a business trip to Helena, MT late Thursday night, look what was waiting for me:
