A film crew from Indiana University shot two days with Mom and I in NYC for a feature story premiering next month in Momentum magazine (Day 1 and Day 2 shoot details). We actually ran out of time in NYC and we arranged to do the final interviews at Mom’s house in Mooresville, Indiana (which is about 45 minutes away from Bloomington, the home of Indiana University).

It’s shocking to see how much equipment is needed for shooting a simple interview (where maybe 60 seconds will end up in the final video!). I wasn’t sure we could get it all in Mom’s living room!

But alas, the shoot went off without a hitch:

Lights! Camera! Action!

While I was on camera, Mom and Frankie (my brother’s pug) took a little snooze:

They were clearly captivated by the filming process!

Sad to see it all end (Mom and I felt like Movie Stars!), although Caz Tanner, the producer of the piece, shared with me just last night a picture of her editing the story:

Editing in process for my story for Indiana University Momentum magazine.

I can’t wait to see the final product! I’ll of course share when it publishes.  Stay tuned….
